Can I sell photos of products at a store?

I want to take some photos of toy animals currentlly in stock at a popular toy store. I then want to edit the photos to make a poster and offer it for sale. Would I be OK in doing this? Or do I need to get permission from the people that make the toys?

That depends upon the toys. Some iconic toys, such as Barbie dolls, are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Less distinctive toys may be less problematic. You should consult an attorney.
