Comments		I just googled photography tips, mainly because I just recently fell in love with capturing the right object. Your site was about the fourth, and I am interested in looking further into this. My main reason for commenting is I looked at your pictures and think you have a wonderful ability to capture beauty. I made it out West once, but being in the Oregon mountains and being in San Diego seems like an eternity away!! Great photos!!

Comments		This is the most interesting site about photography I have EVER come across, and no doubt you are receiving useful donations from the advertisers - well done. I am starting out doing wedding and photography for events in the Midlands area the UK (England). Whlst I appreciate the camera is only the start, can I ask what camera you use for that extra sparkle ? (I use a Canon 350D presently, but am thinking of upgrading to the Canon 5D Mark 2 and using L series lenes.) Any thoughts ? Kind Regards James7/14/2009

Comments		We just returned from Yosemite. We used your PhotoSecrets book for planning out the timing of our various treks. It worked out wonderfully. We also found several absolutely beautiful spots that I don't think we would have found on our own. The book was helpful, accurate and easy to use. Thank you for adding to the enjoyment of our trip.

I have recently decided to take the big plunge and build a website to sell my and my dad's work, and it has been one of the most frightening things I've ever done. I came across your online book and felt every bit of worry and confusion slip away with every page I read! Comments		Hi Mr. Hudson: Hope all is well. I just wanted to thank you for your superb web site. It is great that you are sharing your expertise. I am among those who has a full time job and enjoy photography and creating memories for people. I actually get excited and feel great when people tell me they like what I've done. For the past many years wherever I show up, I take pictures. . .and lots of them. Then I put them on a photo website, take lots of time to edit and then share. Many people have told me I missed my calling. Funny thing is I have not taken any formal course and pretty much use my camera's default settings. I have finally decided I should make a go of this (especially since I have been working for almost 33 years and may retire in the next few). I have skimmed over your website and look forward to reading it in depth and taking advantage of your suggestions. I have also tried, but with not much aggression, to send a picture I took to National Geographic and Birds and Blooms. No response and I did not follow-up. You have given me renewed faith and I believe I will try again with a different approach. So, before I begin, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for taking your time to create what appears to be a site with lots of useful information for someone like me (and, no doubt, many others). Comments		I really enjoyed reading your web page and am excited to try some of your money making tips. Having started my own business in June of this year I'm finding it hard to make a steady income and hard to find a direction I'm happy with. As with most photographers I'd love to make money off of my prints alone and not have to work for a client (weddings, portraits). I currently have a website but am not doing much with it at the moment. I'd like to try out all of the different areas of sales and see what works best with me and my available time. Thank you so much for creating such a website to help myself and others in my position focus on a future and career in a field I love so much.

Comments		Hey, just wanted to thank you for making the copyright rules or laws simple. I've gone to several websites to try to learn how and why I need to copyright my photographs and they either confuse me or ask me for money first. The website is great, easy to understand, and to the point. I'm a beginer in photography and needed to know why I would need to or not need to copyright my work. Comments		Are you for real? You are like an oasis in a very large desert for me. I'm in my 50's, recently moved from the corporate world, relocated from a large metropolis to a small mountain town in NC and am trying to follow a dream of writing and doing photography. What a different life...have begun taking what I consider professional quality photos and am finally learning how to process and save them correctly for submission.
