The popular workflow software has been updated, and includes built-in export to make photo books on Blurb.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 became available on March 6, 2012 for US$149, or US$79 as an upgrade. Lightroom allows you to organize, enhance and showcase your photos. This new version allows you to import RAW file and improve the dynamic range of the photos to recover shadow and highlight details.

“Lightroom is the essential photography workflow solution helping amateur and professional photographers quickly import, manage, enhance and showcase their images. .. Lightroom 4 introduces refined technology for superior shadow and highlight processing, ability to create photo books, additional local adjustment controls, and enhanced video support.”

Lightroom 4 also features built-in export to Blurb so that you can quickly create photo books.

  • Choose from over 100 book layouts, utilize rich text formatting options, and incorporate caption metadata.
  • Edit your photos even after you’ve placed them in book layouts.
  • Select from ProLine book options and get the estimated book price within Lightroom 4.
  • Order your book on Blurb, set your price and sell it in the Blurb Bookstore — keep 100% of the markup.

“This killer new Lightroom feature lets you go from photos to printed books in a fast, easy, and fun way.”
